ABOUT THE WELL KIDS

The Well Kids exists to make disciples (Matthew 28:19), encourage the children to come to Jesus (Matthew 19:14), and to support, encourage and edify families in the body.

Our vision at The Well is to make disciples, from the youngest to the most mature. Kids are a valued part of the Body of Christ and we desire to create a relevant and nurturing environment for them to know Jesus as their Savior and equip them to share Him with the world. We believe that parents are the most important influence in a child’s life, and our desire is to partner with parents in the child’s spiritual formation.  Preschool children through 5th grade are invited to worship with family at the beginning of service, and will be dismissed to class with a trained leader.  All children’s leaders have undergone a background check and have been trained by our Children’s Ministry Director.

The Well Kids is available to the following ages:

Nursery/Toddlers: Newborn-36 months (may be dropped off beginning at 8:45)

Preschool: 3-5 years (Will begin class after shared worship)

Elementary: K-5th grade, Twice Monthly (Will begin class after shared worship)

Preschool

In our Preschool ministry (ages birth-5 years old), we strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and help parents proclaim to their kids who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. During the service, we sing, dance and teach the Bible to the kids, using our curriculum: The Gospel Project. To find out more visit https://www.gospelproject.com/kids/ .

Our volunteers are required to be trained and screened, and we maintain strict teacher-to-child ratios to ensure safe care. For health standards, children must be free from fever or symptoms of contagious disease for 24 hours. Let us know of any allergies or medical conditions your child may have.

Elementary

In our Elementary ministry (Kinder-5th grade), we work to continue building up a strong, gospel-centered foundation for our children. Our hope is to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children by creating environments, curriculum and resources that center on the gospel of Jesus Christ. Elementary students will have the opportunity to worship with their parents in church twice a month, and will meet as a class twice a month.  We will be using The Gospel Project to equip children to love and know God, and to share about Him with others.
